Starting off the year with a Brand In a Day for this Utah event center.
We ran a nomination-style giveaway to help a business start the year off with a fresh look and clear direction through the Brand in a Day method. Hearthside Event Center owners Dave and Ruth were nominated by their daughter Kate in the giveaway. This beautiful and historic church in Eden, Utah is a gorgeous wedding and event venue that also wants to expand to workshops and other local events.

Northern Utah has an abundance of wedding venues, but Hearthside Event Center is one of the few that also stands as an historic site. It's been preserved to maintain the beautiful historic details, and with all of the history in the surrounding area they want to focus their messaging on sharing that history alongside their clients’ stories too!
The sense of community is strong in Eden, so supporting other businesses and their events and gatherings to bring people together is a large focus for Dave and Ruth as well. With the community’s history alongside the stories of their clients, Hearthside Event Center wants to focus on the heart of the event and the people that create the memories there.
Mission Statement
I love the mission statement that we crafted together for the event center: Hearthside Event Center is the history-rich venue that provides a welcome space for couples and businesses to make memories and bring people together. Hearthside Event Center aims to create the perfect blend of charming and personable with inviting and flexible details to serve many occasions in a truly custom way.
Brand Design Focuses
Our focus in the brand design process was to create a nature-inspired color palette to complement the naturally beautiful surrounding area and garden featuring strong greens and browns with neutral cream and charcoal accents for a timeless feel. Last to be incorporated was a surprising deep red to bring a romantic energy without being overly feminine or in-your-face. Lastly, the stained-glass window detail is reminiscent of the chapel’s architecture and historical beauty.
Hearthside Event Center has always offered attentive, caring customer service, but with this new branding they can now have clarity and confidence in their messaging efforts to stand out from their competitors and showcase their unique qualities.
