Branding for Helena, Montana’s newest three-day celebration!
Gold Rush Days is Helena’s newest three-day celebration celebrating the mining and pioneer history that founded Helena. The celebration includes over 40 events spanning downtown including gold panning, a fun run, limited-edition wines, cancan dancing, tours, and more!
We were entrusted to create a brand for the event based around the original logo design developed by Proof Marketing (original logo not shown). This included refining the design and establishing brand fonts and colors to create consistency in marketing efforts.
We also created a map for the entire weekend with the schedule, event locations, sponsors, and the passport for the wine walk contest. By adding colors, cohesive fonts, an alternate logo, and a few icons, Gold Rush Days now has branding they can use for future events to build on brand recognition and community familiarity as they grow year by year! Bonus project - we even did a quick mini brand for the Cancan Girls, a dancing and personality-filled group of ladies that brought the personality and old-timey energy to the festivities!
